No, we do not compete at a professional level. Our programs were designed to reduce stress and to provide a non-judgemental place to be around horses. Competition can be highly stressful and very expensive- so we focus on the relationship, not the showing.

Not at the moment.

I am not sure I want to commit to a whole program, what do I do?

We recommend that you come for a private lesson to see if our farm is the right fit for you.

How do I book a trial lesson?

Contact us and we will book it for you. Most trial lessons are after the horse program at 5pm on weekdays. The cost is $50.00 for 30 minutes or $75.00 for an hour. This includes a tour and a horse safety orientation.

What exactly do you breed?

Friesian Horses! Friesians originated in Friesland – a province in the Netherlands. The only color a studbook registered friesian come is black. Friesians are average 15.2 hh to 16.0 hh, although some are taller or shorter. Our Friesians are bred for dressage and pleasure riding, although they would also excel for driving.

What are the evaluations in your Friesians descriptions?

Our friesians are registered, therefore they must attend a keuring (judging). The keuring happens at least 2 times in the horses life, once when they are a foal- for entry into the foal book- and again when they are three or older and eligible for entry into the adult studbook. The Friesian may be awarded a premium, with first being the best and this award appearing on their registration certificate.

How do I buy a friesian from you?

We have the option to buy in utero for a reduced fee, as well as payment plans until the foal is weaned.  It is extremely important for us to match the right horse to the right human, therefore we highly encourage you to come and visit our farm and our mares before purchasing a horse from us.
